Coffee Selection

We believe that quality begins with stewardship of the land and the well-being of the people who grow coffee.  No matter how popular or trendy a coffee is, we will not offer any coffee that we consider to be of inferior quality or that is sourced or processed in ways that violate our commitment to ethical practices. To that end, we carry a selection of the best specialty coffee from around the globe. 

Arnold and his roaster are meticulous when it comes to selecting the green coffees we use from around the world. Scores of green coffee samples are roasted and cupped before we choose any origin coffee. After all, unless we start with the best green coffees, all the care and effort we put into roasting and packaging would be unnecessary.

When it comes to our Trademarked and Private Reserve coffees, the selection process goes from picky to fanatical. We either grow, process and import the coffee ourselves or supervise throughout their journey from seed to cup. By handling these coffees ourselves, we can control the quality through each of the critical steps towards development. The result is a small group of Central and South American coffees that are consistently excellent and unmatched for quality by any other coffees from these regions.

Delivery & Shipping Guidelines

All orders are roasted to order to ensure that your coffee is fresh...We roast Monday-Thursday...and ship Tuesday-Thursday so that your coffee does not spend the week-end in a USPS/UPS warehouse...We believe that the extra time in delivery is worth the wait to drink the freshest coffee possible.
