You know about Costa Rica La Minita™, the world’s most meticulously prepared coffee at every step, from planting, picking, washing, to drying. Even at that, they are so picky and sort through the beans so many times at every stage of processing that less than 25% of the crop ends up branded with the La Minita™ name. Now, the company owns an estate in Sumatra, and they do the exact same thing there. The resulting harvest is what they are branding Ache Gold Sumatra—a clean, complex, meticulously processed washed coffee. La Minita™ means “little gold mine,” so that’s how they came up with the Ache Gold name.
